Best answer

Correct answer is : 58

\(\text { Force }(F)=\left(3 x^2+2 x-5\right) N \)

\( x_1=2 \mathrm{m} \text { and } x_2=4 \mathrm{m} \)

\(\text { workdone }(\mathrm{W})=\mathrm{F} \cdot \mathrm{dx}\)

\( =\int_2^4\left(3 \mathrm{x}^2+2 \mathrm{x}-5\right) \mathrm{dx}\)

\(\left[\mathrm{x}^3\right]_2^4+\left[\mathrm{x}^2\right]_2^4-5[\mathrm{x}]_2^4 \)

\( =[64-8]+[16-4]-5[4-2]\)

\(=[56]+[12]-10\)

\((\mathrm{~W})=58 \mathrm{~J}\)
