Differentiate homoiomerous and heteromerous lichens.

In homoiomerous lichen, the algal component is scattered uniformly between the fungal components. Also the thallus is simple in composition and is not much differentiated.

In case of heteromerous, the algal component is not spreaded out but limited to certain area and the thallus has a layered structure and is much differentiated.
