BD || FG

∠FGH + ∠FGE = 180°(Linear pair)

125° + y = 180°

y = 55°

∠ABC = ∠BDE (Alternate angles)

∠BDF = ∠EFG = 55°(Alternate angles)

∠EFG + ∠FEG = 125°(By exterior angle theorem)

55° + ∠FEG = 125°

∠FEG = x = 70°

Thus, x = 70° and y = 55°
