The given equations is a2b2x2 - (4b4 - 3a4)x - 12a2b2 = 0,a ≠ 0 and b ≠ 0

Comparing it with Ax2 + Bx + C = 0.we get

So, the given equation has real roots

Hence, 4b2/a2 and - 3a2/b2 are the roots of the given equation.
