Convex lens form magnified erect image when the object is placed between F, and optical center O. Image formed is virtual, erect and enlarged and on the same side of the lens as the object.

Convex lens form magnified inverted image when the object is placed at F1. The image formed is real, inverted and enlarged at infinity.

The image is diminished.
