In the experiment to show that a current carrying conductor when placed in the uniform magnetic field experiences a force. What happens when

(i) You reverse the terminals of the battery ?

(ii) The direction of current is perpendicular to the direction of magnetic field ? State your observation.

(i) On reversing the terminals of the battery, the deflection of the rod will be in opposite direction. 

(ii) When the direction of current is perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field, then the rod will experience a maximum force.
