State the functions of primary and secondary lymphoid organs in humans.

(i) Bone marrow is the main lymphoid organ where all types of blood cells including lymphocytes are formed. 

(ii) The lymphocytes migrate to secondary lymphoid organs (e,g., spleen, lymph nodes, Peyer's patches of the small intestine), which interact with the antigen and proliferate to form a clone.
