Best answer

Correct option is (D) {2, 1}

x – 2y = 0     ___________(1)

\(\Rightarrow\) x = 2y

3x + 4y = 10     ___________(2)

\(\Rightarrow\) 3 (2y) + 4y = 10

\(\Rightarrow\) 6y + 4y = 10

\(\Rightarrow\) 10y = 10

\(\Rightarrow\) y = \(\frac{10}{10}\) = 1

\(\therefore\) x = 2 \(\times\) 1 = 2

Hence, solution set of given system of equations is (x, y) = (2, 1).
