Correct option is (D) -6

For inconsistent system of equations, we have

\(\frac{a_1}{a_2}=\frac{b_1}{b_2}\neq\frac{c_1}{c_2}\)

\(\Rightarrow\frac2{-4}=\frac{-3}q\neq\frac{-3}{-p}\)

\(\Rightarrow\frac3p\neq\frac{-1}2\)

\(\Rightarrow p\neq3\times-2\)

\(\Rightarrow p\neq-6\)

Hence, the value of p cannot be -6.
