Three types of theory are:
(a) Instinct theory
(b) Social learning theory
(c) Frustration-aggression theory
Frustration-aggression theory: It says that aggression comes from your being frustrated at not achieving goals or having progress towards a goal blocked. When this theory is combined with social learning theory, it states that aggression occurs in certain situations where you may become frustrated, if you can not control this frustration it carries anger and arousal. It is then you are likely to become aggressive. So, this theory states that you are likely to become aggressive if the aggressive acts are supported.
