Best answer

The correct option is: (d) Abscisic acid

Explanation:

Abscisic acid induces dormancy of buds towards the approach of winter. Seed dormancy is mainly caused by abscisic acid. Because of its action in inducing dormancy abscisic acid or ABA is also named as dormin. It is a plant growth inhibitor. It also causes stomatal closure.
