Best answer

Data : λ = 5500A = 5.5 × 10-7 m,

D = 2.44 m

Angular resolution. ∆θ = 1.22λ/D, D being the diameter of the aperture.

∴ ∆θ = 1.22 × 5.5 × \(\cfrac{10^{-7}}{2.44}\) = 2.75 × 10-7 rad

= 0.0567 arcsec
