Let f(x) be a continuous and g(x) be a discontinuous function. Prove that f(x) + g(x) is a discontinuous function.

As, f(x) is continuous and g(x) is discontinuous.

Case I : g(x) is discontinuous as limit does not exists at x = k.

Case II : g(x) is discontinuous as.

whenever g(x) is discontinuous
