Correct Answer - Option 3 : 2 ∶ 1

Given:

Height of cylinder = 3 × radius of cylinder

Concepts used:

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

Volume of cylinder = πr2h

Calculation:

Let radius of cylinder be r units.

Height of cylinder = 3r units

CSA of cylinder = 2πr × 3r = 6πr2 units

Radius × CSA = r × 6πr2 = 6πr3 units

Volume of cylinder = πr2× (3r)

⇒ Volume of cylinder = 3πr3 units

Ratio = r × CSA of cylinder/Volume of cylinder

⇒ 6πr3 units/3πr3 units

⇒ 2 ∶ 1

∴ Ratio of product of radius and CSA of cylinder to volume of cylinder is 2 ∶ 1.
