Correct Answer - Option 1 : Akbar

The Correct Answer is Akbar.

  • Sikandra in Agra houses the mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar.
  • The tomb of Akbar is the tomb of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. This tomb is a significant masterpiece of Mughal architecture. It was constructed by his son Jahangir in 1605-1613 and is situated on 119 acres of land in Sikandra, a sub-sub of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Akbar planned the tomb and chose a suitable location for it. In 1605–1613, the building was completed by Akbar's son Jahangir after his death.
  • With four white marble chhatri-topped minarets that are identical (and pre-dated) to those of the Taj Mahal, the south gate is the highest and is the usual entry point to the tomb. The tomb itself is enclosed by a 105 m square walled enclosure.

  • The tomb of Humayun is the tomb of Humayun, the Mughal Emperor, in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned in 1558 by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, and designed by her chosen Persian architects, Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad.
  • In Khuldabad, Aurangabad district, Maharashtra, the Tomb of Aurangzeb, the last of the powerful Mughal emperors, is located.
  • A 17th-century mausoleum constructed for the Mughal Emperor Jahangir is the Tomb of Jahangir. The mausoleum dates from 1637 and is situated along the banks of the Ravi River in Shahdara Bagh in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
