  • Quit India Movement
    • Launched on 8th August 1942 by Mahatma Gandhi.
    • It was launched in an All-India Congress Session in Mumbai.
    • It was announced by Gandhi when Cripps Mission failed in India. 
    • Anti-British sentiments were rising and demand for full independence gained popularity amongst the masses.
  • Swadeshi Movement
    • It was launched in 1905 and it lasted till 1911.
