Correct Answer - Option 1 : Cultural, Political, Technological

The correct answer is Cultural, Political, Technological.

  • The triple pressures of commercialization, modernization, and population led to the requirement of land reforms in the country.
  • The land reforms promote a triple revolution-
  • Cultural Revolution-
    • The roots of uneven distribution of land lied in the discrimination and caste-based social structure. The Land Reforms took excess land from Zamindars and distributed it to the landless low cast people who usually perform beggar and forced labor. Hence it emerged as a cultural revolution.
  • Political Revolution-
    • It emerged as Political Revolution because in many states like Orissa and Bengal, the Land Reform became a major subject matter of election and soon it spread in other states also.
  • Technological Revolution-
    • Land Reform promotes the Technological Revolution in agriculture because after Land Reforms the landless and forced labor now got land to work upon, now Zamindars and big farmers introduced tractors, thrashers, and other machines in farms to operate with minimum labor. Also, the green revolution further increased the income of farmers and the yield of crops. This further enhanced the technological revolution in small farmers also.
