Correct Answer - Option 3 : 103 kg / m3

Concept:

  • SI unit: The units of measurements that are internationally accepted by the international organization and used worldwide for scientific measurement and calculations are known as SI units.
  • The SI unit of mass is Kg and the volume is meter - cube m3.
  • Density: It is defined as mass per unit volume of any object. Unit of density is unit of mass by unit of volume.
  • 1 gram is equal to 10 -3 kg
  • 1 cm is equal to 10 -2 m
  • By this convention volume of 1 cm 3 = 10 -6 m3

Calculation:

 1 g / cm3.= 10 -3 kg / 10 -6 m3

⇒ 1 g / cm3.= 10 (6 - 3 )kg / m3

⇒ 1 g / cm3.= 103 kg / m3
So, the correct option is 103 kg / m3
