Correct Answer - Option 1 : 175

Given:

Diameter of tyre is 0.5 m

Distance travelled = 275m

Formula used:

Distance travelled = no. of revolutions × circumference

Circumference = 2πr = πd

Calculation:

Let no. of revolutions be x

⇒ 275 = x × π × 0.5 = 0.5 × 22/7 × x

⇒ x = 175

∴ No. of revolutions will be 175
