  • The economic activities which take place while exploiting the natural resources fall under the Primary Sector.
  • Primary sector activities include
    • Mining 
    • Agriculture Activities
    • Oil exploration​​​​
  • ​​​​In general, all the other sectors or sub-sectors like Tertiary or Secondary depends on the primary sector.

  • Secondary Sector: It contains all the economic activities under which the raw materials extracted out of the primary sector are processed. The secondary sector also called the industrial sector as it contains the manufacturing industries like steel, food processing, etc.
