Best answer

Given: \(\frac{1}{x+4}- \frac{1}{x-7}=\frac{11}{30}\)

⇒ x2 – 3x – 28 = -30

⇒ x2 – 3x – 28 + 30 = 0

⇒ x2 – 3x + 2 = 0

⇒ x2 – 2x – x + 2 = 0

⇒ x(x – 2) – 1(x – 2) = 0

⇒ (x – 2) (x – 1) = 0

⇒ x – 2 = 0 (or) x – 1 = 0

⇒ x = 2 or x = 1

⇒ x = 2 or 1.
