Given ΔABC; AB – AC 

Join the mid point D of BC to A. 

Now in ΔADC and ΔADB 

AD = AD (common) 

AC = AB (given) 

DC = DB (construction) 

⇒ ΔADC ≅ ΔADB 

⇒ ∠C = ∠B (CPCT)
