In the given A.P. a_n = 6n + 2 

Then the first term = a₁ 

= 6(1) + 2 = 6 + 2 = 8 

Second term = a₂ = 6 (2) + 2 

= 12 + 2 = 14 

Third term = a₃ = 6 (3) + 2 

= 18 + 2 = 20 

Fourth term = a₄ = 6 (4) + 2 

= 24 + 2 = 26 

So the first four terms in that A.P. are 8, 14, 20, 26.
