Biogas is a mixture of methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, hydrogen sulphide. Following steps are involved in obtaining biogas:
i) Mixing (Slurry of cattle-dung and water)
ii) Digesting (decomposition of cattle-dung by anaerobic bacteria)
iii) Formation of biogas
iv) Residue left after the formation of biogas.
