SF6 is known but SCl6 is not known . Give reason.

Fluorine is highly electronegative and can easily cause the promotion of electrons from the filled to the vacant 3d orbitals however, Hydrogen is less electronegative, even less than that of sulphur therefore it cannot cause the promotion of electrons.Thus SF6 is known but SH6 is not known.
