Limitations of Lewis concept
i. The important requirement of Lewis concept is the formation of a coordinate bond when a base reacts with an acid. However, well known acids such as HCI, H2SO4 , etc., do not form coordinate bonds.
ii. The neutralisation process is usually fast but the formation of coordinate bond is slow.
