Best answer

Let r and h be the radius and height of the solid right circular cylinder respectively.

Let S be the total surface area of the solid right circular cylinder.

Given that r = 10cm and S = 880 m2

2 x 22/7 x r x10 = 880

r = \(\frac{880\ \times\ 7}{2\times22\times10}\) m

r = 14 m

Volume of cylinder = πr2h

= 22/7 x 14 x 14 x 10 m3

= 6160 m3
