(b) MIDI

• Its full form is Musical Instrument Digital Interface.
• It is a protocol which allows musical instruments and other hardware to communicate with the computer.
• It makes recording and editing music easier.

(c) Intelligent Terminal

• It is also known as smart terminal or programmable terminal.
• It contains a processing power.
• It includes a memory and a processor to perform special operations.

(d) Ports

• It serves as an interface for computer and other devices.
• There are different types of the port like serial, parallel, PS/2, universal serial bus, VGA, etc.
• It helps to connect different input and output device with a computer.

(e) Non-Impact printers

• It is also known as laser printers and ink-jet printers.
• Printing on the non-impact printer is noisier than the normal printer.
• Printing element doesn’t directly strike in a ribbon.
