(B) If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of the assertion,

(D) If the assertion and reason both the false. 

(E) If assertion is false but reason is true. 

Assertion : The magnetic field produced by a current carrying solenoid is independent of its length and cross-sectional area 

Reason : The magnetic field inside the solenoid is uniform.

The correct option (B) If both assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of the assertion,

Explanation:

For solenoid, B = [(μ0nI)/2][cosθ1 – cosθ2]

Hence B is independent of length and area. Also magnetic field inside solenoid is uniform. 

Hence both statements are true with reason is not correct explanation of assertion.
