Mass of solute (salt) = 20 g

Mass of solvent (water) = 180 g

We know,

Mass of solution mass of solute + mass of solvent

= 20g + 180g

= 200 g

Mass percentage of salt in the solution

\(=\frac{mass\,of\,solute}{mass\,of\,solution}\times 100\)

\(=\frac{20}{200}\times 100 = 10\%\)
