Kruthi said \( \sqrt{2} \) can be written as \( \frac{\sqrt{2}}{1} \) which is in \( \frac{p}{q} \) form. So \( \sqrt{2} \) is a rational number. Do you agree with her argument ?

No didn't agree.

√2/1 is not rational as p and q are not integers.

According to definition of ration number p and q should be integers but √2 is not integer.

So, √2 is not rational.
