Eq. mass of the acid = \(\frac{0.528\times 1000}{6}\) = 88

Being monobasic, the mol. mass = 88

The acid may be C3H7COOH.

C3H7COOH \(\xrightarrow {Soda \, lime}\) C3H(propane)
