Cyclohexanol is dehydrated to cyclohexene on heating with conc. H2SO4. If the yield of this reaction is 75%, how much cyclohexene will be obtained from 100 g of cyclohexanol?

Correct option is (a) 61.5 g

The weight of cyclohexene formed = \(\frac{82 \times 100}{100} \times \frac{75}{100}\) = 61.5 g
