The formula for the circumference of a circle is:  \(C = {2 \pi r}\)

Here the radius is 84cm so the circumference, or the distance that the tip of the minute hand covers, is approximately 527.79cm

The number of minutes between 10:25 and 10:10 is 15 which is one quarter of an hour and which is one quarter of the way around the circumference.  Therefore, the distance that the tip of the minute hand travels in that time intervals is approximately 132cm.
