Correct option is (C) haemoglobin

Haemoglobin is a reddish respiratory pigment which is carrier of oxygen in human blood. It contains a large iron containing group called haem which gives haemoglobin red colour and is responsible for binding the oxygen which is transported by the haemoglobin in the blood stream. Normal haemoglobin content is about 15gm/100mL of blood for males while it is slightly less in females, about 13gm/100mL of blood.
