Consider the Gaussian surface, the cube is at the centre of 8 cubes of side d.

Gaussian surface

Thus the electric flux passing through the given cube is,

\(\phi = \frac{1}{8} (\frac{q}{e_0}) = \frac{q}{8e_0}\)
