ठीक 90 ग्राम जल में 30 ग्राम अवाष्पशील विलेय के एक विलयन का वाष्प दाब \( 25^{\circ} C \) पर 21.85 निमी \( Hg \) है। आगे इस विलयन में 18 ग्राम जल और डाल दिया जाता है।

प्रश्नानुसार, प्रथम विलयन के लिए

जल मिलाने के पश्चात

समीकरण (i) तथा (ii) को हल करने पर m = 67.83 m का मान समी (i) अथवा (ii) में रखने पर 

P = 23.78 H g
