(I) A D.C power supply comprises a step down transformer of turn ratio 10:3; a center tap full wave rectifier and the capacitor filter of capacitance 100µF.  The input voltage applied to it is 240V, 50Hz.  The output of the d.c power supply is connected to a resistive load of 150Ω.
