Pancreas: It secretes pancreatic juice which contains protein-digesting and starchdigesting enzymes. 

(c) The organ which performs the following functions in humans are as follows:

(i) Absorption of digested food – Small intestine. 

(ii)Absorption of water – Large intestine.
