Role of Family in Our Society
The primary role of a family in society is to foster an environment where children learn skills, values and morals. Families provide initial socialization for children. It shapes their personality, attitude, values and behaviour. Families create structure and stability in the lives of their members. Children also learn about structure, rituals and routines in their families. A family also provides an environment of accountability, where family members learn about the rewards and consequences.
A family is capable enough to leave its impact on the entire society by its positive example. The parents must show love towards their children. They should spend time with them. They should build a good relationship with their children. In order to fulfil its role in society, the family should educate children moral values so that the children will pass on these values to future generations. It will make society a safe and happy place for all people to live and prosper.
The importance of family in our society is incalculable. What we learn in our family, is reflected in our personality. Wherever we move, we carry our family values with us. Infact, our family is responsible for our identity. Our society, and the whole world know us by our actions, not by our intentions.
हमारी सोसायटी में परिवार की भूमिका
हमारे समाज में परिवार की भूमिका समाज में किसी भी परिवार की प्रारम्भिक भूमिका होती है एक ऐसे स्वस्थ वातावरण का निर्माण करना जहाँ बच्चे कौशल, संस्कारों व नैतिक मूल्यों को सीखते हैं। परिवार बच्चों को आरम्भिक सामाजिकरण उपलब्ध कराते हैं। परिवार बच्चों के व्यक्तित्व, उनके सोचने के तरीके, उनके संस्कारों/मूल्यों और व्यवहार आदि को आकार प्रदान करता है। परिवार अपने सदस्यों के जीवन को एक संगठित रूप में स्थायित्व प्रदान करते हैं। बच्चे संगठित रूप (ढाँचे), रीति-रिवाजों, व दैनिक क्रिया-कलापों को भी अपने परिवारों में सीखते हैं। परिवार उत्तरदायित्व का एक वातावरण भी उपलब्ध कराता है जहाँ परिवार के सदस्य पुरस्कारों व परिणामों (विभिन्न कार्यों के) के विषय में भी सीखते हैं।
एक परिवार अपने सकारात्मक/अच्छे उदाहरण के कारण सम्पूर्ण समाज को प्रभावित कर सकने में पर्याप्त रूप से सक्षम होता है। माता-पिता को अपने बच्चों के प्रति प्रेम व्यक्त करना चाहिए। उन्हें उनके (बच्चों) के साथ समय व्यतीत करना चाहिये। उन्हें अपने बच्चों के साथ अच्छे सम्बन्ध स्थापित करने चाहिये। समाज में अपनी भूमिका को निभाने के लिये एक परिवार को अपने बच्चों को नैतिक मूल्यों से शिक्षित करना चाहिये जिससे कि (ये) बच्चे इन मूल्यों (संस्कारों) को भावी पीढ़ियों में पहुँचायें। यह समाज को सभी लोगों के रहने व खुशहाली की अनुभूति करने के लिये एक सुरक्षित और सुखद स्थान बनायेगा।
हमारे समाज में एक परिवार की भूमिका अगणनीय (अत्यधिक महत्वपूर्ण है। हम जो कुछ भी अपने परिवार में सीखते हैं, वही हमारे व्यक्तित्व में झलकता है। हम जहाँ कहीं भी कदम रखते हैं, अपने परविार से ग्रहण किये हुए मूल्य/संस्कार हमारे साथ चलते हैं। वास्तव में हमारी पहचान के लिये हमारा परिवार उत्तरदायी होता है। हमारा समाज व सम्पूर्ण दुनियाँ हमें हमारे कार्यों से पहचानता है, हमारी इच्छाओं से नहीं।
