In this story the narrator delivers an important message to the human being that insufficient knowledge is harmful and it may be the cause of great trouble in our life. Such as the knowledge of the measurement of the thermometer proved terrible for the boy because he had insufficient knowledge and it created trouble in his life. If his father did not clear his concept of right measurement, he would die certainly. So we must not think about anything in a particular puint of view.
