The two blind men went with imaginary ducat at the Green Dragon. They ordered for a feast of stuffed goose and a good drink. They ate and drank like princes and bishops. After the food it was time for the payment. The other one was thinking that the other had the ducat. None of them had the ducat. They quarrelled over this issue. The donkey driver was enjoying the scene. The innkeeper was ready to hand over them to police when the comedian came.
दोनों अंधे व्यक्ति काल्पनिक स्वर्ण मुद्रा के साथ ‘ग्रीन ड्रेगन’ जाते हैं। उन्होंने पकी हुई बतख और अच्छे पेय का आदेश दिया था। उन्होंने वहाँ राजकुमारों और सामन्तों की तरह खाया और पीया। भोजन के बाद भुगतान का समय आया। दूसरा सोच रहा था कि दूसरे के पास स्वर्ण मुद्रा थी। स्वर्ण मुद्रा किसी के पास नहीं थी। इस मुद्दे पर वे लड़े। गधा चालक इस दृश्य का आनन्द ले रहा था। सराय मालिक उन्हें पुलिस को सुपुर्द करने को तैयार था जब विदूषके आया।
