(i) Neutralization reaction

(ii) When heat is evolved during a chemical reaction it is called exothermic.

(iii) Exothermic : 

1. Heat is evolved. 

2. Temperature increases.

Endothermic : 

1. Heat is absorbed. 

2. Temperature decreases.

(iv) Temperature of the solution increases.
