Write any two chemical reactions in which water acts as a reducing and oxidising agent respectively.

F + H2O → HF + O2

In the above reaction fluorine reacts with water to form hydrogen fluoride and oxygen gas is liberated. 

The reaction based on oxidizing property of water is as follows:

Al + H2O → Al2O3 + H2 

In the above reaction aluminum reacts with water to aluminum oxide and hydrogen gas is liberated.
