Nuclear Fusion as the name suggests nuclear which means relating to nucleus and fusion means to join. So nuclear fission is a process in which two lighter nuclei come close enough to form one or more different atomic nuclei releasing a large amount of energy. The nuclear fusion reaction takes place at Sun where two hydrogen nuclei combine to form helium resulting in liberation of large amount of heat and light energy.
