Best answer

Let the number of years required be x.

Number of months 3 months = \(\frac{3}{12}\times\,150000\) year
= 37500
x
Deposit per month in Rs Rs 5000 150000

No. of years and deposit are direct proportion as they both increases simultaneously.

He can save Rs 1,50,000 in 7\(\frac{1}{2}\) years.
