Total plants = 1000 

Number of rose plants = 5 % of 1000 

= \(\frac{5}{100}\) x 1000 

= 50 

Number of Daisy plants = 1 % of 1000 

= \(\frac{1}{100}\) x 1000 

= 10 

Total of rose and daisy = 50 + 10 

= 60 

Number of other plants = 1000 – 60 

= 940
