Given:

Length : breadth = 2 : 3

Speed of mayank = 6kmph

Formula:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × ( L + B) (where L = length , B= breadth)

Area of rectangle = L × B

Calculations: 

Perimeter = distance covered in 10 min.

⇒ (6000/60) × 10 = 1000m

Let, length = 2x and breadth = x

⇒ 2(2x + 3x) = 1000

⇒ 10x = 1000

⇒ x = 100m

⇒ Length = 200m and breadth = 300m

 ⇒ Area = 300 × 200 = 60000m²

∴ The area of the garden is 60000 m².
