Population : Small family, happy family.
The world population right now stands at more than 7.8 billion according to the latest census. China and India contribute more than 35% of this population. China is the most populous and Indian taking the second position. But the most densely populated country in the world is Bangladesh.
It was expected that the world population touched one billion for the first time in 1804. It was 1927 before it reached two billion, but it took only 33 years to reach three billion in 1960. Now it only takes 12 to 13 years to add one billion people to the world.
