Correct option is (b) 12, 3.5

We know that the mid point formula M = (x, y) of the two points (x1​, y1​) and (x2​, y2​) is:

\((x, y) = \left(\frac{x_1 + x_2}2 , \frac{y_1 + y_2}2\right)\)

Here, the given points are (16, 3) and (8, 4), therefore,

Hence, the coordinates of the mid point are (12, 3.5).
